IRO takes centre stage at new flooring showroom
Due to a period of sustained business growth one of the UK’s largest suppliers of wood flooring, V4 Flooring, has launched a brand-new showroom, with IRO Timber taking centre stage.
V4 Flooring, which predominantly supplies to the architecture, design and retail industries, is a family run business with years of experience in the wood flooring industry.
Founded in 2002, V4 Flooring has always operated from a distribution and sales room. However, due to the nature of their target markets, the sibling team decided it was time to introduce a sample showroom to display exactly what they have to offer and to inspire anybody walking in – and this is where IRO came in.
Manufactured in Britain, IRO is a vibrant range of architectural cladding and decking which is designed to enhance building exteriors, interiors and gardens. It is coated in Rubio Monocoat wood creams which guarantee a long-lasting, UV-stable finish and water-repellent properties.
Having heard about V4 Flooring’s plans, Rubio recommended IRO Timber for V4’s showroom due to its low maintenance care requirements and high-quality appearance.
David Chapman, Sales and Marketing Director at IRO, said: “We are delighted to have been engaged by V4 Flooring and are very proud of the end result at the new showroom.
“IRO is extremely versatile and this project really gave us the opportunity to demonstrate how our cladding can complement every environment. The striking grain appearance that IRO provides ensures our product really stands out from the crowd, making a real impact that is built to last.”
Chris Vincent, Managing Director at V4 Flooring, said: “We aim to inspire and motivate everybody who walks into our showroom and we believed IRO was the ideal fit for our vision.
“With its simplistic, quirky design and low maintenance properties it was an easy choice for us and we are proud of all the feedback we have received. We were also impressed with the variation in colours and the consistency of quality in both indoor and outdoor environments.”
A representative from Rubio Monocoat said: “With the design of this particular showroom it was imperative to give an organic look to the facade of the building. IRO was selected for its originality, texture and variety in colour.”
In comparison to traditional cladding products which are likely to begin losing colour within the first year, IRO is guaranteed to last and is easy to look after.
Rubio Monocoat’s representative added: “We also used IRO for the internal finishes which perfected the atmosphere in the showroom by creating a warm feeling and touch, and a true lustre to the timber.
“The client, V4, was extremely pleased with the IRO product which added texture and an energy to the showroom.”
For this project, V4 Flooring chose to use 140m2 of external cladding in ‘chestnut’ and 50m2 of internal cladding in ‘natural’, but the IRO range is available in a diverse suite of 15 colours to suit every taste.
